Our Story

Kay Collins Sales, Lettings & Property Management is a family run business and has enjoyed a successful level of growth in both Lettings and Sales in the Wigan and surrounding areas since we first opened our doors in 2006. Our journey started with a small office with only company directors Kay Collins and Steven Atkinson. Kay and Steve managed their letting agency for10 years until Kay's daughter Olivia Collins joined the team in 2016 and now manages both sales and lettings.

Olivia’s knowledge and passion for working in property is unmatched and her presence at Kay Collins is irreplaceable. In 2019, Olivia asked for the support of Kay and Steve to transform Kay Collins from a Letting Agency to an Estate & Letting Agency and open a sales department. Of course, Kay and Steve supported Olivia in this new business venture and we are now proud to say we are successful in both Sales & Lettings. Olivia also loves to work with investors, finding properties and gives outstanding advice on refurbs and renovations.

We now employ a number of staff - who we think the absolute world of - to help run our busy office. Coral-Lily joined us in 2021as an apprentice and is now fully qualified from her course. Coral’s title is a sales & lettings administrator, she concentrates mainly on tenant referencing getting them ready for moving in and updating vendors and buyers of the progress of their sale. Coral is a credit to the company and we have been very lucky to find her.

Shortly after, Vanessa joined us and blew us away with her customer skills. Vanessa previously worked in an estate/letting agency, so already had knowledge in some aspects of the business. Vanessa now produces our tenancy agreements/paperwork ready for our tenants checking in to their new home and manages the maintenance department for our rented properties. Vanessa thrives off communicating with our tenants, landlords and contractors each and every day.

Jasmine is the newest member to our team and is currently working alongside Olivia learning the ropes. Jasmine has picked up the job roll quicker than we have ever seen before, her knowledge; customer skills and passion to learning is outstanding. Jasmine is now our full time on road staff and is enjoying carrying out inspections and accompanying viewings. Our little firecracker.

Kay Collins have so much more to give and we cannot wait to implement our ideas and share them with you in the near future.
